How do I start a script?
Open Founder Teleprompter and tap New script on the Scripts tab. Paste your script, give it a title, then tap Start teleprompter. You can also pick from five built-in templates by tapping the book icon at the top right.
How does the hands-free wave work?
On the teleprompter screen, with the Hands-free toggle on, hold your open palm in front of the iPhone front camera. Vision detects the open palm on device and a 3-2-1 countdown starts. Camera frames never leave your iPhone and are not stored.
Why does the app ask for camera and microphone permission?
Camera is required for the wave-to-start gesture. Microphone and speech recognition are required for the optional voice cue ("start"). You can deny either permission and still use the teleprompter via the on-screen Play button. Permissions can be changed in iOS Settings, Privacy & Security.
Can I record video while reading?
Yes. Founder Teleprompter records video from the front camera while you read. After your take, you can save it to your iOS Photo Library. Audio and video are captured locally only.
What does adaptive pace-by-syllable scrolling do?
Instead of a constant scroll speed, the app modulates pace by the syllable density of the words near the eye-line indicator. Commas and complex words slow it down. Short punchy words speed it up. Net effect: it feels like a human pace coach, not a metronome.
How many takes does the app keep?
Up to five takes per script in the current version. The Takes tab shows your history grouped by script.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open iPhone Settings, tap your name at the top, tap Subscriptions, tap Founder Teleprompter, then tap Cancel Subscription. Apple manages all billing for the App Store. We cannot cancel or refund directly.
