Information We Collect
Website Visitors
When you visit our website, we collect minimal, anonymized analytics data to understand how our site is used. This includes:
- Pages visited
- Buttons and links clicked, and guide sign-up forms submitted (the event records the page, never your email address)
- Approximate location (country, region and city), looked up from your IP address
- Device type, browser, operating system, screen size and language
- Referral source
We use Umami, an analytics tool we host ourselves at analytics.nexasphere.io. Umami sets no cookies and does not build a profile of you across sites.
Every page also loads the Lemon Squeezy affiliate script from lmsqueezy.com. If you arrive through an affiliate link, or carry its cookie from an earlier affiliate visit, it sends the page address, the referring page, the affiliate code and a browser fingerprint identifier to Lemon Squeezy, and sets a cookie named ls_aff_ref so the referral can be credited. Otherwise it sends nothing to Lemon Squeezy beyond loading the script.
Contact Form & Newsletter
When you contact us or subscribe to our newsletter, we collect:
- Email address
- Name (if provided)
- Message content (for contact forms)
This information is used solely to respond to your inquiries and send requested updates.
Guides, Newsletter & Waitlists
When you ask for a free guide, join the newsletter or join a waitlist, we add your email address (and name, if you give one) to our email list in Mautic, our own email marketing system. Guide sign-ups may also receive a short series of follow-up emails about that topic. You can ask us to remove you and delete your details at any time.
Comments
When you comment on a blog post, we store your name, email address, IP address and the comment. We email you a link to confirm the comment. Once you confirm it, your name and comment are published; your email and IP address are never shown. The IP address is used only to limit abuse. Comments that are not confirmed within a day are deleted.
Our Products
Each of our products has its own specific privacy practices. Generally:
- iPhone Apps: Most data stays on your device. Cloud sync (if offered) uses end-to-end encryption.
- Chrome Extensions: We do not read your browsing history. Extensions only access what is needed for their function.
- SaaS Products: Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. We never access your data without explicit permission.

Data Storage
All your data stays local. Your conversations, folders, tags, and settings are stored entirely in your browser using IndexedDB and Chrome Storage API. We never upload your ChatGPT or Claude conversations to our servers.
What the Extension Accesses
- chatgpt.com, chat.openai.com & claude.ai: To read conversation titles and metadata for organization, and the text of chats you open so you can search them locally
- Storage permission: To save your folders, tags, and preferences locally
- nexasphere.io: Only for Pro. To activate, the extension sends the email you used at checkout once, to request a 6 digit activation code that we email to you, and then the code. After that, a daily check sends a signed token that contains no email address
AI Features
Auto-organize uses Chrome's built-in Gemini Nano when your computer supports it, which runs entirely on your device. No conversation data is sent to external AI services.
Account & Payments
If you upgrade to Pro, we collect your email address for account management and payment processing. Payments are securely handled by LemonSqueezy (our payment processor) and Stripe. We never see or store your credit card details.
Analytics
The extension sends no usage analytics and no error reports.
How We Use Your Information

Our analytics set no cookies. The one tracking cookie is ls_aff_ref, which the Lemon Squeezy affiliate script sets only when you arrive through an affiliate link. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
