Sample report, fictional data

What a Ledgerline billing pack looks like.

Ledgerline takes a period of schedules and timeclock punches, compares them shift by shift with what the contract says can be billed, and produces one billing pack per site. This page shows that output, so you can judge it before you share any of your own data.

Everything here is invented. The firm is “Sample Guard Services Co”, the guards are “Officer A Sample” to “Officer M Sample”, and every site sits at “Sample Business Park, Anytown”. No real company, person, licence or address is in it.

01One week, seven sites

What one week turned up.

One week (Mon Jun 8 to Sun Jun 14, 2026) for seven client sites: 15 findings.

Owed but not billed

$503.67 across 6 findings

A further $69.75 of overtime at Retail Mall (1.5 h at 1.5x) needs the client's approval first, so it stays out of that total.

Flagged with no dollar figure

5 findings
  • Civic Plaza: 1h of overtime and an 8h shift nobody punched for. No rate card covers this site yet, so Ledgerline does not guess a price.
  • Two punches where one guard appears at two sites at the same time.
  • One guard punched in and never punched out. That shift stays off every invoice until someone corrects the punch.

02 Inside the pack

Every figure shows its arithmetic.

Each pack opens with the site, the period, the contract it was priced against and three totals: billable, credits and the net change to the invoice.

The lines follow, grouped by post and rate class. An evidence appendix then repeats each line's arithmetic step by step, with scheduled and worked times in words, so anyone can check a figure without logging in.

The sample shown is the Sample Office Tower pack: 3 pages, 4 priced lines.

Lines below show an armed post covered at the unarmed rate, a call-out shorter than the contract minimum, unbilled overtime, and a holiday premium that was not billed, each with a reference to the evidence appendix.
