Does my client data leave my iPhone?
Audio is captured locally, transcribed locally with Apple's on-device speech recognition, and summarized by an on-device model on iOS 26 and newer. The recap PDF is generated locally. There is no third-party transcription service and no cloud language model. Recap PDFs are only shared when you tap Send to client and pick the destination yourself.
Does this make me compliant with the NAR settlement?
No. ShowBrief AI creates a log entry for each showing documenting the value you provided to your buyer client. It is a productivity tool, not legal advice. Review the entries with your broker or your E and O insurance carrier.
What happens if I have no signal inside a basement?
Everything works offline. Recording, transcription, brief generation, and PDF rendering all run on-device.
What if I say a client's sensitive data out loud?
ShowBrief AI's PII redactor masks SSN-shaped, Luhn-validated credit-card-shaped, and US-format phone numbers before the brief is stored or shared. You can one-tap restore a span if the redaction was a false positive.
Do I have to record both parties' consent?
Recording laws vary by state. California, Florida, Illinois, and several others are two-party-consent states. You are responsible for complying with your local laws. ShowBrief AI is designed for your private dictation after the showing, not live recording during conversations with sellers or buyers.
How do I cancel?
Open iPhone Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, tap ShowBrief AI, then Cancel. Apple manages all billing.
