Hypertension Diary by NEXASPHERE

Effective Date: May 17, 2026 · Operator: NEXASPHERE INC. (Delaware, USA) · Contact: [email protected]

The short version

Hypertension Diary runs entirely on your iPhone. Your blood-pressure readings, medication log, target numbers, reminder times, and the doctor PDFs you generate all stay on your device. We do not have a server. We do not run any health-data backend. The only data that ever leaves your iPhone is what you explicitly share, for example by sending the PDF to your doctor via the standard iOS share sheet, or by emailing yourself a copy.

What we do not collect

We do not collect, store, transmit, or sell:

  • Your blood-pressure readings (systolic, diastolic, pulse)
  • Your medication names, doses, or change dates
  • Your symptom tags or notes
  • The PDFs you generate
  • Your name, email, phone number, or any contact information
  • Device identifiers, advertising identifiers, or IP addresses
  • Crash reports, usage analytics, or telemetry

We do not embed any third-party analytics SDK (no Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Firebase, PostHog, Sentry, Crashlytics, or similar). We do not embed any advertising SDK. We do not call any third-party health or AI service. The app has no account system.

What stays on your device

The following is stored only in your device sandbox via Apple SwiftData with standard iOS data-protection encryption at rest:

  • All blood-pressure readings you log manually
  • Readings imported from Apple Health if you enable that option
  • Medications, doses, and dose-change events
  • Your target BP numbers, reminder times, and onboarding answers
  • Generated PDF files in a temporary location until you share or discard them

Uninstalling the app deletes all of this. We have no way to recover it.

Apple Health (optional)

If you enable the Apple Health integration in Settings, the app reads existing blood-pressure and heart-rate samples from HealthKit for the last 90 days. The read happens locally on your iPhone. We never see those readings. The app does not write back to Apple Health. You can revoke the permission at any time in iPhone Settings, Privacy and Security, Health.

Notifications

Hypertension Diary schedules local reminders at the times you choose in onboarding or Settings. The reminders are produced by your iPhone, not a remote push service. We never send promotional notifications. There is no remote push infrastructure in this app.

In-app purchases

Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are handled entirely by Apple StoreKit. We receive an anonymous receipt indicating that a purchase occurred, used solely to unlock paid features in the app. We do not see your name, your Apple ID, your billing address, or your payment method. Manage or cancel your subscription in iOS Settings under your name, Subscriptions. Apple privacy practices are at apple.com/legal/privacy.

App Store analytics

Apple App Analytics (the standard App Store metrics dashboard) reports aggregated, anonymized data to us such as install counts and crash rates. These metrics are produced and aggregated by Apple and cannot be tied to individual users. Opt out at the device level in iOS Settings, Privacy and Security, Analytics and Improvements.

Children

Hypertension Diary is a logbook for adults who have been advised by a clinician to monitor their blood pressure at home. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children.

Medical disclaimer

Hypertension Diary is a logbook, not a medical device. The readings you record are educational only and are not a substitute for a diagnosis, treatment, or advice from a licensed clinician. Hypertension Diary does not measure blood pressure, does not estimate blood pressure, and does not analyze your readings for clinical decisions.

Your rights under GDPR, CCPA, and similar laws

Because we do not collect or store any personal data on our servers (we have no servers), there is no data for us to access, port, correct, or delete in response to a data-subject rights request. All your data lives on your device and can be deleted by you at any time from within the app or by uninstalling. If you believe we have collected something despite this policy, email [email protected] and we will investigate.

Changes

If we ever change our data practices, we will update this page and the Effective Date above before the change takes effect. Any material change that introduces new data collection will be opt-in.
